Today, I finally decided to stay home and rest. I think this is just what I needed to help me recuperate. I slept for most of the day and also took Christina's advice and gargled with salt and warm water a couple of times. (gag!) But I think I'm actually going to beat this dam strep throat or whatever I have! Hurrah!! In national news: I really don't want to see politicians campaigning over the Christmas and New Year's holidays. I think Jack Layton has made a terrible decision to side with the oppositions to topple the Liberals out of power. I sincerely hope that if they bring down the government at this time of the year, they will pay dearly for their mistake like others have in the past. And that is my beef of the day.
