After work Alison and I went to this pub called Duke of Kent for some draft, nachos and wings. And let me tell you, my girrl knows her wings!! She had them mix the mild and honey garlic sauce together and it was so dam yummy! And I taught her a little something about drinking draft. You put a bit of salt to make it less flat and believe me it taste better that way! I think it's a college thing. I just can't wait to go back for another round!

This guy lives accross my street where I live and every evening from 6 to 9:30 pm he plays the banjo! In the morning I go walk Buddy at 8 am and I see him at his window playing his banjo!! How weird is that? I just had to take a picture to prove to my friends that I was not making this up!

Today was a rainny day in Toronto... from time to time I don't mind them. Curling up in bed with a good book... Or if you gotta a bf it's the perfect weather for staying in bed allllll day! *evil grin*

I went to Kitchen Stuff Plus today on my lunch break to get a few things for my new place...

Bought a shower curtain, bathroom accessories and a couple of things for the kitchen. I love that store!! You can get totally addicted... and of course there's one right beside my work!

I may need a raise...

I got to try and hold back from buying more stuff there... at least until my new sofa arrive. Then I'll have to go buy some lamps and book shelves... there's no end!

Buddy is adapting very well to his new environment. I guess he likes the fact that he has a gazillion new places to mark his territory.

All this stress that I've been going through... has pushed me to crave McDonald's. I also blame it on the location of one particular one, corner of Broadview and Danforth, Dam you I say! Anyway, I just ate at McDonald's...What the hell was I thinking? Now I feel all bloated and sick to my stomach. Might taste yummy but it's soooo unhealthy!!! Those friggin' fries and bigmac... mmmm BIGMAC! lol

I like my new place but this move has put me a little bit behind in my finances. I know with time I'll get back on my two feet as I once was a few months ago. I guess when you pay only $400 a month for rent and later on start paying more than double that amount... It can really hurt in the wallet. Plus with my crazy ex-roommate making me buy stuff that Buddy chewed on. I just wanted to get out of there without any hassle, so I did what she asked. All I can do now is adapt to my new situation and catch up on my bills and I'll get there eventually.

Anyway, enough said I have to go walk Buddy to the park now. :-)

Today is my birthday! Bonne fête à moi, bonne fête à moi !
My day was spent relaxing and going for walks with Buddy. Later in the evening my friend Alex took me out for my bday dinner at Pizza Delight. They actually have one in Oakville! It was so nice of him... and I was soooo excited!!! This restaurant is from the east coast and I grew up eating garlic cheese fingers with donair sauce. They have the best pizza around and I just love their donair sauce!

I did not expect for my friend Alex to buy me anything for my new apartment. I was really caught off guard when he surprised me with a couple of gifts! He got me a coffee maker, coffee grinder, dish drying rack and a stainless steel tea pot that whistles! I should move more often man! haha just kidding. I hate moving in the first place. But yeah, thanks Alex! Your a real sweetheart and a true friend. Now when is your birthday again?
