My Trip to Los Angeles

March 3rd I left for Los Angeles and met Julian and his friends. We had a really good time hanging out and doing stuff around the city. We went biking at Long Beach on my first day; visited the Getty Museum Center (which was awesome!); went hiking at Griffith Park that has some of the best sceneries of L.A., including the famous Hollywood sign!; had loads of fun at Disneyland; went to Palm Springs and stayed over night at Joshua Tree National Park; and how could I forget all the Filipino food that I ate that week, I truly enjoyed the experience.

In a nutshell my trip was great!!!

Check out the pictures below:

Long Beach -California

Julian... with or without glasses? What do you think? ;-)

The model shot... MMWWAAAHH!

On my first day to L.A.: Julian and I went biking at Long Beach... it was a lot of fun!

The beach and scenery was so beautiful...

Griffith Park Covering more than 4000 acres, L.A.'s biggest park features two golf courses, a train museum (Getty Center), the L.A. Griffith Observatory, and so on...

Mount Hollywood... view of the Hollywood sign!

Can you see the tiny Hollywood sign in the background? haha

A spectacular view of Los Angeles behind the Griffith Observatory.

Awesome hiking trails; stunning view of the Los Angeles basin.

Getty "Museum" Center

Taking the tram up to the museum... very cool!
A view down at The Garden...

The "new Getty" museum houses some very unique exhibitions. From European paintings, Greek and Roman antiquities, 18th century French decorative arts and so much more. I really enjoyed every minute of it! What I thought was cool was the expresso bars, cafés and outdoor patios. It's quite the museum!

Enjoying The Garden, the view and the sunshine!!

Julian... looking all studly!

Joshua Tree National Park...
Me posing for the camera...
Joshua Tree ... it's sort of a cross-breed of a palm tree and a cactus.
Beautiful sceneries...
Joshua Trees everywhere!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!

It's been a long time since I've updated my blog, eh?

Here's a recap of what I've been up to since my last blog entry:
- At the end of January I was packing my life into boxes and preparing for my big move. Yes, I moved again in order to help me with my financial situation.

- I have a nice roommate, Frank, and we share his townhouse. I live on the third floor with my own bathroom. Oh and many Thanks to my good friend Alex who helped me move by stuff! I owe him bigtime!!

- February, I got busy unpacking and organizing my bedroom. It's really hard to fit an entire apartment into one bedroom/bathroom, but I did manage to by chucking out unnecessary stuff that I was holding on to. Yes, I'm one of those that keep things thinking that one day I'll be using them again.

So I'm sure I'll have a lot more to say when I get back from my trip to L.A. (already leaving on March 3rd!!!)

I'll keep you posted...
